The next day it crashed after 2hours, then again after 30min and then after 15min.
So even though the hard drive was replaced the problem persists. What could cause the problem? Could it be something in my save files? Does it make it easy to upgrade RAM or not? Mine is Dell Latitude, and there is a special area on its bottom that I only need to remove its cover to reveal the RAM chips and pull them out. If it is for a year or two, then I recommend gb minimum.

You have to know what type of RAM does your motherboard support before considering the upgrade. From the past days my PS4 has been running very slow. So yesterday I was playing Call of duty Black Ops 4 and I could see rendering issues on some of the maps during the game. At first I just thought it could have been a network issue or an issue with the game lagging which could happen. I have a decent internet connection 90mbps. The next day, I set a game for download from the playstation store, it was downloading OK for the most part. After the game was half downloaded, the whole system froze while I was navigating the notifications menu.
It stayed stuck for more than a minute. So I pressed the power button on the console for a few seconds but still nothing. I finally had to unplug the power cable and reconnect it. I called up Sony support and they advised me to do the software initialization via the safe mode. That went well and the system rebooted. However, the system still runs very slow with literally nothing on it after the OS installation. However, while navigating the menu, the system froze again and I had to reboot the console.
Also, the download happened at a very slow speed. When I test the connection, it gives me a speed of mbps but the actual download is happening at just 6mbps. Also, the download seems to stop for a few seconds for some reason. I mostly do digital downloads and never had this issue before. My console is still running very slow even though it has nothing on it.

I rebuilded, updated, initialized, fully initialize, all in safe mode, deleted my messages, my notifications, my Internet data, deleted apps, reinstalled apps, left PS4 untouched, restored default settings, cleaned my PS4, added ventilation to it, made room cooler, used a simpler theme, stopped using my other accounts, looked online for solutions, etc….
Let me first ask you an important question: does the freeze happen only with that specific game, or just every game? By the way, your problem is common and not weird.
