I am trying to watch The astronauts a new series on Nickelodeon Chanel anyways, I have xfinity. I just decided to watch the astronauts on demand. I watched the first one, then I was about to watch the second one, but it was not available. I was super sad. So I googled where I could watch it.
It said to get this app, so I did. Then I downloaded it and opened the app. I found the show, then went to find episode 2.
Episode two on xfinity was called Day 1. The episodes go in order by days. This cut file has thin lines. I LOVE the look of the thin lines.
I adhered each letter using liquid glue to patterned paper. I wanted each letter to be backed with a different patterned paper. I also cut out two spiderwebs out of black cardstock to go on the top and bottom of the background.
These spiderwebs give the perfect, subtle detail on the black background. If you'd like to see how this entire layout came together, you can watch the process video HERE on my YouTube channel. Thanks for stopping by the Just Nick blog today. Have a happy and safe Halloween. Happy crafting!! I started my layout by cutting the cut files. I used white cardstock to cut the Happy Halloween 3 and the Spiderweb 2, and for the Halloween Icons 3, I used one of the papers from the collection.
Then, I backed the Spiderweb 2 cut file with vellum paper. I glued the Spiderwebs and the photo on top of them. Then, I added flowers I had fussy cut.
For my title I used the Halloween word from the Happy Halloween 3 cut file. To finish my layout I added the bats from the Halloween Icons 3 cut file, ephemera, stickers and puffy stickers. Hi friends, this week theme on the blog is Halloween. I used two files for a page in my Halloween Album. I cut it three times on patterned paper and made a kind of mini with two pictures from a funny shooting with my sister. On the left side I print a big picture and I made a cluster with puffy stickers and stars on vellum.
I choose only the word pumpkin. Sheena here again sharing with you my latest 12x12 layout featuring lots of the great Halloween cut files available in the Just Nick Studio store. After adding paint to my background cardstock I machine stitched some strips cut with the Boho Borders 1 cut file over the top. The Spiderweb 2 cut file was perfect to create a base for both of my photos. After using ephemera from Simple Stories Spooky Nights to embellish around my photos I cut ghosts from vellum using the Ghostly cut file and bats from cardstock using the Halloween Icons 3 cut file to add around the layout.
I finished the whole page off with my title in the centre back filling the word Halloween from the Happy Halloween 3 cut file. I hope you feel inspired to create using some of the fabulous halloween cut files available in the Just Nick Studio store. I used the beautiful Bella Blvd Sweet and Spooky collection for my page, and some elements from an older collection as well.
My photo was taken at a pumpkin patch a few years ago. I applied Distress Oxide Inks with a blending brush on the white cardstock and added numerous splatters. I let it dry completely. I backed the pumpkin with orange patterned paper and decided to hand stitch around it with white embroidery floss.
It gives a nice subtle addition to it. I mounted the cut file on adhesive foam before adhering it to the page. I fussy cut leaves and small pumpkins to decorate around the cut file.
I placed my title directly on the cut file and added beautiful Pinkfresh Studio crystal gems on the page as the finishing touch. I hope you felt inspired by my page today! This cut file is just the cutest pumpkin ever!! Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting, and happy Halloween! Halloween is almost here and we are starting to get ready for this super special and fun-filled holiday. There are so many Halloween themed cut files in JustNick store , and I'm sure you will create amazing projects with them.
I chose two cut files to work: " Happy Halloween 3 " and " Halloween Icons 2 ". First of all, I started cutting the bats and the spider web from the halloween Icons 2 cut file on a black cardstock. In a white cardstock, I placed the spider web in the middle of my page as a stencil and I used orange distress oxide to make the shadows.
Then I cut the offset of my letters in a white cardstock and after that I used the same distress oxide on them. I put some on the top of the happy halloween cut file, and placed the bats from Halloween Icons 2 around my page.
Hi friends! I cut the files from white cardstock. I printed my color photo at 5x7 and cut the photo into a circle shape to fit the dimensions of the wreath. I embellished the top left of the wreath with ephemera and stickers from the American Crafts Peaceful Heart collection. I backed the Leafy Fall cut file with papers from the collection. I added ephemera to the corners of the cut file. I added some machine stitching around the edge of the ledger paper and added a border of floral paper; to finish, I added splatters in gold and white to complete the layout!
I hope you are inspired! Be sure to check out all of the files in the shop! Hello friends! Yvette here, and today I'm sharing a Halloween-themed layout with you. They're so many fun Halloween -themed cut files in the store to choose from, but in the end I decided on two of the newer ones I started my layout off by cutting the 'Happy Halloween 3' cut file from white cardstock three time and instead of using patterned papers from a tradition Halloween collection to backed it.
I went with Vicki Boutin fun and colorful Color Study collection. Next, I wanted to create a mixed media background, but after a few attempts and just wasn't happy with any of them, I decided to use one of Vicki Boutin ready-to-use mixed media paper.
I then adhered the 'Happy Halloween 3' cut file to the bottom half of my layout using foam tape, give it some added height and dimension. To complete my page I added the bats found in the 'Halloween Icons 3' cut file around the layout, which I cut from black cardstock. Don't forget to check out all the amazing cut files available in the JustNick Shop!
Hello, and happy Monday cut file friends! Majken here with you today to share a colorful scrapbook layout using a couple of cut files: Fall Frame and Sentiments 1. Let's take a look! I cut the Fall Frame and Hello from Sentiments 1 from textured black cardstock - it just makes those colors pop! I cut a frame from the patterned paper from Vicki Boutin's Color Study collection and adhered it to white cardstock, and then I adhered the frame over that, leaving the leaves and stems alone for some dimension.
Join us on Instagram for more inspiration, and share your projects with us using justnickstudio. Hello JustNick friends! Nicole here and today I'm creating a layout using the gorgeous new Rustic Ring 2 cut file. I just love these clusters of leaves and florals! I backed them using papers from Peaceful Heart, Including backing the circle with the pink and white check.
I auditioned many papers from both lines and felt the blue fit the best. It was a nice bold, yet soft, contrast. I felt like the project was missing more of the pink, which then lead me to placing the blue piece on a diagonal. To make this feel more "home" feel, I added stamped stitch lines around the edges of my papers.
I then added a cluster of elements on the bottom left. I loved the "how lucky" and house ephemera. I felt they were perfect for this spread documenting my thanks for my son and how positive his attitude and mindset always is! I felt this space also needed more florals, so I cut several from a sheet of patterned paper.
I then added my photo to the right cluster and brought in the same elements of florals, die cuts and a banner. Lastly, I added my title around the outside of the frame and two small paint and sequin splashes on the top right and bottom middle of the spread. I felt those two areas needed a little something without taking the focus away from the rest of the layout.

Nathalie with you today to share a bit of inspiration using JustNick Studio's newest cut files. We just celebrated Thanksgiving here in Canada, and that means that it is time for my gratitude journal 30 days to begin.
Let me show you how I have started my 6x8 album. I simply cut it twice from white cardstock, glued the pieces together, and then backed the leaf with shimmer vellum. I chose a very "Fall-ish" paper for the background Vicki Boutin mixed media paper pad , and glued the leaf in the center of the page. I cut it from gold mirror paper and white cardstock. I glued the gold die cut on the page, then glued the negative white cardstock letters on top of the gold die cut.
Just love how this turned out. I have already started working on my album, and my day 1 is always about my faith. So, I decided to go for a hybrid approach for this page. This time, I am using the cut file as a digital stamp. Using my Silhouette software, I placed the images on the canvas, then added my color choice, and sent it to the printer. A bit of stamping complete my page! Remember to check them out! So much to be thankful for this past year, and Thanksgiving time is definitely a way to express that with the beautiful Fall cut files JustNick has.
I used the Leaves 6 cut from white cardstock, backed with solid cardstock. And then used the Give Thanks cut file digitally to create a background that I printed onto my pattern paper. I use Photoshop Elements to change the color of it, make it smaller, and create the background. I created a circular cluster of the leaves, then added in my photos printed into circles to fit right in with the design. I stapled the white cardstock cut leaves to the solid colored cardstock for a unique look and added texture.
Before I adhered anything down, I penciled where my journaling would go, and sent through my typewriter. Finished with beautiful Fall embellishments. These leaves are gorgeous! Use them as I did and maybe give creating a digital background a try if you are able to. So many ways you can use JustNick files other than cutting them! Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends!! Hello, Becki here, to share with you a layout that I created using the Thankful cut file.
Instead of creating a traditional Thanksgiving layout with turkey and all the trimmings, I chose to create a gratitude layout. This cut file is cut out of white cardstock about I backed the cut file with patterned paper from the Bungalow Lane collection.
On each side of the cut file, I adhered a 3x4 photo and a few embellishments. The journaling is on a tag tucked behind the photo in the upper right corner. I'm so happy with how this project came together! If you'd like to see how this project came together, you can find a full process video HERE. I can't wait to see what you create with the Thankful cut file.
Happy Thanksgiving, friends! I hope you have a wonderful day filled with family and friends. Today I'm sharing with my latest 12x12 layout featuring a really great cut file from Just Nick studio. When I saw this cut file in the shop I knew exactly the photo I would use with it. I wanted to use the All Boy cut file to make a statement title to compliment this statement photo of my Grand Pup looking really cool!
It was a maze of halls, chapels, conference rooms and corridors, all of them devoted to Our Lord on every day of the week apart from this one, when it was devoted to loud music, Yeezys and discarded cans of NOS. It took Joseph a while to find Jaz and Darcy. They were in the corner of the main room, away from the speakers, in the centre of a little knot of people, mostly guys. As Joseph approached, he realized he knew most of them from school, or from football, or from being in the same place at the same time.
Who had moved on?
